Simple kit for studying reflection and refraction, on a stable and convenient support, without the need for an optical bench.
Kit comprises:

- 1x graduated disc (230mm diameter)
- 1x transparent and graduated semi-cylindrical tank (200mm diameter)
- 1x semi-circular block
- 1x mirror
- A compact, simple apparatus that enables the study of refraction and reflection without the need for a full Optical Bench.
- Key Stage 3 > Science - Physics > Waves: The transmission of light through materials: absorption, diffuse scattering and specular reflection at a surface. Use of ray model to explain imaging in mirrors, the pinhole camera, the refraction of light and action of convex lens in focusing (qualitative); the human eye.
