Bacillus subtilis is a rod-like bacterium found in soil and in the gastrointestinal tract of ruminants & humans. It is a Gram Positive bacteria.

Bacillus subtilis becomes translucent with age and can give rise to unpredictable growth, so to ensure success you may prefer to store this bacterial culture in fridge and sub-culture on a monthly basis.

- Aseptic handling technique should always be observed when handling bacterial cultures.
